I'm Jim
Just found this site and am looking forward to learning about the AR10.
I ordered an Armalite AR10TBTN in March and it should be arriving next month.
I own a Colt AR15 HBAR, M14, M1 Garand, and a modified 8mm Mauser.
I plan on shooting the AR10 in high power matches as I enjoy using iron sites, but also plan to equip a scope for other fun.
I just got my AR-10T last week. Found it at a local shop where there had been an order mix-up, and the guy that had originally ordered it got tired of waiting and bought something else. I found the site here somehow as I was ordering a scope mount and rail kit from Armalite yesterday..
I'm retired military and live in West Texas. Most of my shooting experience has been with the 5.56mm (I have a Bushmaster A3, and an Anderson M4) and with varmint hunting (.204 Ruger and 22-250). This is my first .308 and I'm looking forward to chatting with you guys about it.
Hi guys, my name is Mike, and I just stepped in it up to my neck. I'm new to the forum and to the world of AR's, but I just committed to purchase a DPMS LR-308 off of Gunbroker. I'm going to rely on you to help get me through my first baby steps in the world of AR-10's. I've always liked the modular design of an AR and the .308 is my favorite rifle round, so this just seemed like a natural. I'm on a rather limited budget so the few guns that I have will have to do double or triple duty. I live in the Missouri Ozarks, white tail country, so the DPMS will be my deer rifle and my SHTF gun. BTW, I'm also blessed with a very understanding better half.
Hello Mike
I`ve been on this forum for a while but i`m still learning, when time permits, about these rifles.
There are people in here that really have their poopinagroup and are a whole bunch smarter than I am,on these rifles so You probably wont be getting much from Me as far as information goes but I will welcome You in.

Hey everyone, just registered here! I've enjoyed the shooting sports my whole life and have just recently got into shooting the AR platform. Currently I've been keeping down the local squirrel population with my varmint zapper I built. Here in Cali we normally have to build our own ARs as the gun laws pertaining to them are stringent. I hunt mostly and as of late am interested in getting an AR10 platform for shooting steel plates and other fun things. See you guys on the forum as I need to do some homework.
New guy from St. Louis area. Looking forward to sharing info and learning from the experts here. Been shooting since I was six and love it!! Been into the AR15 rifles and now moving up into the REAL world of the rifle. My name is Glenn. Have a great day!!
hello all; i'm back into guns again, just ordered an AR10T to play with. hope it comes soon. i've got lots of questions and i already found the answer to one just by searching around the site, so i'll continue that approach before i post any more. glad you guys are here.
Welcome aboard! Get ready to be dazzled with your new rifle. I hadn't shot much for twenty years and was just blown away at how accurate they have made these rifles, mine seems to shoot great for everyone that tries it and it is just a basic flat top, you've got the laser coming!
