Hello all new guys and welcome, I put this on another thread but maybe on here more will see it. If you are looking for an armalite 10 or other wise I have had a lot of luck with Guns America on line buy and sell. You can build a wish list and sign up for the blog. There are some very good stories and great info on hand loading.
Hello-brand new member. I'm looking to buy an AR 10 to go along with my AR 15s. Hoping to find some good info here to help with my first buy. I just started looking into these and have found that parts and mags are not as interchangeable as AR 15 parts. Want to buy one soon so will be looking hard for info. I saw a Sig 716 that looks pretty appealing and would like to know the pros and cons. I know everything is subjective but I'm looking for some guidance as to what to stay away from and what everyone likes. Time to start searching threads I guess.
I guess to be PC I should say I am looking for an AR 10 type rifle.
Good evening all.
Just a hello from my part of the world.
I've been reading the forum for a while & looking forward to getting & maybe
someday even giving some useful advise.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of good advice from some knowledgeable people here. If you have a question just ask, we look forward to your contributions as well
I’m a retired Navy Corpsman 8404/8432 that served 14 years with the Marines and several deployments to Iraq. The last was in “04-05” Fallujah with M Btry 4/14 Fire Base Pale Horse. Been an avid shooter for 30 + years.
I’m 90% away from finishing my dream weapon a DPMS based AR10 SASS. The only component I’m missing is the 18” Bull barrel. It’s backordered till mid May. Every thing ells is polished, mounted and ready for accelerating lead. It’s based on the proven system a good friend and SWAT Sniper built and is using in the field.
Right now I’m taking the time to research loading and components. It’s about time I started making my own ammo. Plus the wife thinks it’s romantic if I make custom loads for her (Her words….. snicker…).
