I've been very impressed with my standard flat top. It has the regular Armalite two stage trigger, I don't think I would want anything with a lighter pull if you have self defense in mind at all. I paid $1250 for my basic flat top and have found the accuracy to be well above the advertised standard. With a match trigger and SS barrel I wouldn't think the price could be to far out of line. Being an Armalite I'm sure you will be impressed enough to forget about what you paid real fast anyway!

Hi all. My name is Scotty. Iam currently looking to build my first AR10. Plenty of other guns in the cabinet, so this one is a little different for me. Figured this site would be the place to go to get info on a build.
Hello guys ,my name is Dale! I think I have the right website. I think because I live in california. I am in the market for my all purpose sporting arm. I handled an ar 10 at turners on friday and liked it. I also looked at the lmt ,jp rifle and the colt. I wanted to do a .260 build but lmt not possible without 3000 dollar rifle. I saw the ar 10 in .260 22" and like it. I wanted to do my owm build using a point cut rifled barrel. Who makes the barrel on the armalite 22" .260 ? Do any of You guys own one ?can I buy a california compliant model ? Bless you guys and thank You !!

I have the AR-10T 260 Rem and it is an awesome rifle. Not sure who makes the barrel but I can tell you it is very accurate, has a very short throat so you can touch the rifling easily loading to mag length with just about every bullet, actually all that I've tried will. There is a whole tread on the 260 AR-10T where I posted a lot of info. Welcome to the site and good luck on your build!
