They are soft points, so no. One at a time manually loaded, okay. If you want the best hunting round, get the Barnes vor-tex, tipped TSX, tipped all copper hunting rounds. Great for all game in North America in 308. Otherwise, Hornady TAP, Winchester Ballistic Silvertips, or other ballistic tips for killing zombies...
Greetings!
I recently purchased my first AR and I looking to read and discuss with others what they think, have to offer and general knowledge about the AR10's. I purchased a FN Herstal in the .308. My sons have the AR15's but I needed to be different. The "thump" doesn't bother me from the .308, I wanted the long range capability. I reload my own ammo and will try to find the optimum cartridge for it. Long winter nights in Northeast Nevada is prime reloading time.
I hope to hear from everyone who has something to share or just BS.

Hello All,
I'm new to this forum and new to this type of communication. I've never been on a forum before. I hope I'm posting this in the correct spot. Not much help in the 'help' section on how to use the site. Where do I go to get answers to questions I may have?
Anyway, this a first for me, so please be patient.
I'm looking forward to all the resources here.
Thanks.
Im in the air force and stationed in montana, i like it alot and just bought an ar10 .308 to go hunting with. i plan to hunt nearly everything i can i guess i am new and never gone. know not too much about guns. i joined this really in hopes of finding a cheap good scope for my gun as i was told i could find one for like 100 if i looked hard. any help would be great. im married and had to beg my wife for this gun as it was so a multi hundred/thousand scope is out of the question. thank you
