with the accu-ranger reticle. Any input on that? I'm thinking the 52MM objective version of this scope might be a bit too big and almost touching, but it would be nice to have that little extra light gathering since this scope is not illuminated..?
Nice looking firearm, should perform well for you. Can't view your scope detail "Page Not Found" I have a 56mm objective, the scope is a Millett 6x24x56 the objective cover is with in .005 of touching the hand guard lol.
using a standard height scope mount? The armalite two oversized knob one piece puts the scope at the same height to center as your sight line for iron sites (same cheek weld). If yours is the same I probably just need to stick to the 40mm objective. I wonder how much dusk or dawn improvement a 52mm would give? Probably not very noticible... ty for the info.
Hello everyone, I'm new to the site. I'm interested in purchasing an AR-10T. I'd like to go with a .260 and I'm very interested in learning all I can about the weapon prior to purchase so I know what type of specs I should get as well as what I can expect to pay for the rifle. Any advice and/or knowledge on the subject is much appreciated.

So i was looking for addtional info about my first large caliber rifle on order (338 federal) and found this site. I am sure i will have questions due to greenhorn status.
I moved to NW Alaska last year and since being here thought this platform/round would fit the bill for all around large game/plunking.

Looking at purchasing my first ar in the coming months, thought id start doing some research. New to actually looking at the details of weapons, dont have that luxury in the military, as most of you probably know. I do however have plenty of experience shooting (usmc 0351/ssp) i know doesnt make sense, just never took interest outside of work/had money. Im looking for a good rifle that i could use for cqb and be able to swap the upper for dm. any suggestion as to where to start would be great, thanks
