New guy here looking for info on everything about AR10T rifles. I plan on picking one up soon :woohoo: I cant decide between the AR10t .260 or .308. The .260 would rock but what about finding good affordable ammo ?

ballistics of the .260 are good, but the question is, do you have a place to shoot the rifle that would make it worthwhile to pay $30 a box for ammo when you can find .308 for $11????

Just purchased AR10TBNF. Haven't fired it yet and still have the barrel break in ahead of me, but I can't wait to go to the range and get it ready for hunting season. Shot M16A2 in the Marines but have never owned my own AR platform rifle. I got it chambered in .308 for hunting. One shot one kill.

What kind of scope do you plan on using? Im on a budget and found some good reviews on the Hawke tac 30.

You might look at the Nikon Buckmark scopes, I have a Nikon in 4 x 12 with mil-dot. Not much difference between it and the Leupold VX3 on the other rifle. I have been away from the site for quite a while. I have built a Semi-SASS and an upgraded 10T. The only difference between number one and the SASS is the 20" bull barrel without threads. Number 2 started as an older 10T with bead blasted 24" target barrel. Now like number 1 except for standard butt stock.

I'm trying to find some info about moding my Red X Arms AR-10 .308. I want to get a Phase 5 Tactical EBRv2 but don't know for sure if it will function on my rifle. I also need to know how to remove the roll pin from my bolt catch to install it. Any help would be great.
