My name is Kent Stevenson. I was looking for a 5 round mag for my RRA LR8 26" Varmint barreled 308 and stumbled on the website. I am 61 and just about to retire again. Wanted to use my RRA LR8 to varmit hunt in Oregon. I need a 5 round mag to stay legal. Thats my short story.
Hi all, I have owned an Armalite AR-10TBNF since 2006 and have fired about 60 rounds. Thoroughly satified with the rifle and look forward to learning more about the AR-10
I have to thank you Martin for your hard work putting this site together. I know it's a lot of work. I havent gotten my rifle yet, I should be getting it in a few weeks. I did buy a 5 pack of mags ( i'm afraid the libs in the gov will ban the "high capacity" mags).
I plan on using an EoTech 522 XP 308 optical sight.
I am new to the forum but not to AR rifles or guns in general. I have owned many since my Infantry training at Fort Benning 20 years ago. I have sold my AR15 and Cetme .308 to add with my tax return to buy my AR -10 (DMPS LR with fluted 18 inch barrel and CAA grip - see:
pic as idea I have.) I have the bipod and my red/green high power scope still as well as a few hundred rounds. So far I have a pair of XDm .45's and a full dressed Mossberg M-590 nine shot pump.
Looking forward to the best of both worlds in this rifle and love this forum!

As my profile states, I've always been more of a bolt gunner, and into bullseye pistol. Looking to try something new and always been a fan of the 308, so here I am trying to build my first AR-10.
