Brooklyn, great to have you on here you bring a lot of class to this place, LOL. I never had any kids but if I had I would want a daughter like you :twothumbs:
Raymond from Oklahoma here. Im New member and new owner of an AR10 Armalite Carbine. I bought the rifle from my son who purchased it from a roughneck in the oilfield who never fired or sighted it.
Ive had it for a couple of weeks now, and have yet to fire it myself due to work ( let the bashing begin!) but ive had some time to start making it my own by purchasing accessories and a scope mount.
This is my first Ar style rifle. So far ive purchased and installed the following:
LaRue 158 mount for the Trijicon 3x9x40 green mildot scope ( probably not a lot of scope for this but I got a deal and bought a couple of these scopes last fall and had an extra still in the box. The other is on a Howa 270WSM stainless bull barrelled)
ARMALITE median free floating handguard (black)
LARUE APeg Grip In FDE
MAGPUL Moe CTR Fde ( Not sure I dont want to go To Od green?)
I look forward to reading and learning more about the AR10. Ive got big plans for this rifle and would love to come across a. 243 barrel/ upper to add to the hardcase and have a coyote blaster to go with my intent on using this for Hog hunting. Its already been alot of fun just doing some assembly.

My son calls them my Ma ans Pa Kettle guns I never actually did much shooting mainly because of nowhere to do shoot in California Bay Area. Last year I bought a Desert Eagle, a KSG and now own 4 AR-15's and an AR-10. I belong to a shooting club in Southern California and life is great. I started reloading and have been nothing but frustrated. Can't seem to get loads to chamber. Now I've got 300 Blackout and 50 Beowulf to pull apart but I'm not giving up.
Hey MT, the proper die for reloading the Military type of semi or full auto rifles is called a "Small Base Die Set".

Ray sounds like you are putting quality accessories on it. Actually I think the Trijicon is perfect for it. You can still get really good distance with that unit, yet can dial down for closer work. As impressive as 600 yards is, most your shooting will be a lot closer. Welcome aboard. What type of ammo are you going to start out with?

Welcome MT. Marty is probably right. If you are not using small base dies on previously shot brass, that is most likely the problem. Are you having this problem with all your different calibers?
