My name is Shawn and I have owned several AR-10's for years and believe they are far superior to the AR-15 in every way except of course for the obvious fact of weight. I just found this site and am looking forward to picking the brains of ALL the more experienced AR-10 owners out there in order to gain as much knowledge as possible. I look forward to gathering a ton of information. - Shawn

Hi all- I bought a Colt 1911 in 1982 for home defense and plinking. I followed that with two rifles and a shotgun in the 90's. My son calls them my Ma ans Pa Kettle guns I never actually did much shooting mainly because of nowhere to do shoot in California Bay Area. Last year I bought a Desert Eagle, a KSG and now own 4 AR-15's and an AR-10. I belong to a shooting club in Southern California and life is great. I started reloading and have been nothing but frustrated. Can't seem to get loads to chamber. Now I've got 300 Blackout and 50 Beowulf to pull apart but I'm not giving up.
Well the online info I came across said new Starline 50 Beowulf brass did not need sizing, so I didn't. My next step is to try full length sizing after playing with a dummy round in my rifle. I haven't done so yet but the same dummy round didn't chamber in my son's rifle. I'd like to do some headspace measurements if I can figure out what I'm doing first.
The 300 Blackout got put on the backburner since trying to work on the 50. Reloading is new to me but I'm determined.
