Apparently, I join forums and do this ass backwards meaning I see the introduction section after I've already posted. :lol:

My mother called me Robert or Robert Michael, depending on the day but my friends call me Bobby...

I'm a country boy and I've been shooting all my life. I first learned how to shoot with my grandfather back in the late 1950's. I was drafted in the Army in 1971 and did a little more shooting there. I've shot competitively locally, done my fair share of gunsmithing, reload anything and everything I shoot, tailor rounds for specific firearms and applications.

I've built about a dozen AR-15's, some for myself and some for others. I joined the forum after I decided to build an AR-10 to see if I could gain some knowledge and contribute from my personal base and experience.
