Thanks for the suggestions,,,,the M-15 A4 CB would be the one I am thinking about, but not sure yet, also thinking about the Stag Model 3 and the Model 8,,,,will have to ponder my options....
flat top receiver & gas block
receiver etched .243
black furniture
foward assist
standard AR-10 bolt carrier group
20" chrome moly bbl, medium weight
That's it for now.

Well, here's the more I promised. The model is a 10A4243BF. It's the same rifle externally as the 10A4BF, but comes with a 5 round mag and a 10 round mag to outfit it for hunting. It will also have a tactical two stage trigger. They're due out at the end of July. It's been seven years since we had a large run of these, and THIS run will be a limited one! The suggested retail price will be $1,557.

I dont even no if armalite is making 24in barrels for 10's anymore? I no that the "t"'s went to 20in. I just want the carbine for the lightweight accuracy for coyote hunting
Yea, I have the 20 inch T, well I will be getting it sometime this week. I have been looking at the 16 inch T for the same thing...would probably a good lighter weight coyote/hog gun. I have also thought about getting one of those .338 federals but when comparing them against the ballists of the .308 Hordany Superformance loads....they don't really impress me that much except for the fact that you can get a 210gr bullet.
I am talking about getting extra uppers only to go on my T.
Were there problems with the 24 inch barrels? I see them for sale now and then, they do not have the foward assist or the newer handguards.

I have only had one problem with my 24in T. It was right when i got it and it wouldn't feed right. so i called them up and they said it was that they just switched barrel makers and the print that the maker had was about 40-50 years old and the print had a gas port hole on it that was about .005 to small. so i sent it in and they fixed it free of charge and got it right back to me. i wish i could have the 20in for less wieght and the new handgaurds.
