I've said it before, but the 155 grain .308 Sierra Palma Matchking is my favorite bullet. I'll have to try it with Varget sometime if it's working that well for you.
My Great Grandfather was a professional guide out in Western South Dakota. Swore by his Model 99 Lever Action in .300 Savage. He once took two bucks with the same bullet using that gun. That was the only time up to now that I'd heard of anyone taking more than one of the animal they were hunting with the same bullet.

Bet he was using iron sights, no rangefinder, and the ballistics calculator in his head!
I remember when the .243 came out, buddy of mine got one for Christmas, he used it for years to kill white tail down here in S Tx. Wish I knew where he was today, bet he is still using that thing.
