Just shoot it
Glad you have joined the ranks and were all here, for all you questions!
Go to or ask ArmaLite and they will confirm you S# with manufacture date.
Only 400rds the last guy missed out, hardly broken in yet and you get to enjoy. :twothumbs:
Welcome to the site and being a fellow ArmaLite owner you will love it.
What kind of beast did you get the Carbine or a Sass, 10t?
Hurry up and ask the questions! :cowboy:

I have many questions. Looking forward to asking them.
I was told it is an "06 with 400 rnds. through it.
How do i confirm manufacture date with serial # ?
Congratulations. Follow Akai's advice and talk to Armalite. Most important, enjoy it!
Thanks for th' welcome AKAI.
It has an integrated carry handle, so I'm guessing it is the 10B. Just guessing.
Fixed butt stock. 20" bbl. I would like to put glass on top and an adjustable butt stock.
I have saved and hunted a long time for this rifle. It's a keeper.
I'd appreciate any insight into what the best path is to "dress it up".
I will attempt to put pics up tonite.
Thanks again.
Dave
I live in SE Washington and was recently retired after 15 years in the Army. You get blown up enough times and things start to break. I love to shoot and reload. I don't have and Armalite, just a DPMS that a friend gave me as a retirement gift, but it does the trick for now. We have a range up near my home that an old shooter put up years ago. it has everything from 25 to 1k yard targets. It makes life nice for a retired guy like me.

Welcome! And nothing wrong with DPMS, there are a few on the site. I am envious of the thousand yard range. SE Washington is nice country, I have relatives in Post Falls.
