This is an AR-10B that has had the brass deflector milled off, then "Cal 7.62 NATO, S/N xxxxx" was engraved on the lower left portion of the upper receiver similar to the original uppers. The handguards (original AR-10B pieces) and A1 pistol grip are finished in mottled brown. The barrel started life as a Rainier Arms SS unit that has been turned down to .625" forward of the A2 FSB and the 3-prong flash hider, which is an exact replica based on the Dutch Artillerie Inrichtingen drawings, sits out front. A type D M16A1 stock, refinished in "expresso" brown brings up the rear. This is a "work in progress" and I still need to get the "fence" around the mag button and the protrusion on the left side milled off, then replace the front pivot pin with a two-piece setup similar to the original AR-10s and Colt SP1s. I'm also working on another A1 pistol grip to reshape it closer to the original Ar-10 pistol grip profile.
That's a pretty friggin AWESOME AR-10 he has there. Thanks for sharing the video. I enjoyed watching that. Sure would love to take a tour of that "Toy Room."
