I'm all most up for paid contributions, donations, membership. How dedicated are you? and how far do we want to take this, I'm looking for real loyalty here! any thoughts
While my dog hunts under any scenario lets remember AR10 is not AR15 forum, we are a low traffic, low daily post cont, albeit I manage to find several posts to make some kind of contribution to but maybe that is just me some ole retired guy with a bit more time on his hands than those who are hitting the sweat shop everyday.
Nothing here or recommended I cannot support. My only words of advice are to make it sensible...

Agreed.
PS. and I'm glad and proud we aren't like other sites...
Man this thing is booming, I think post count is good and I would even pay a fee, but what is this corp waver thing? I been a member here for 2 years or better and my post counts are low to what some ya'll have, I just don't find that much to say. But whatever it takes to keep the low lifes out I'm in

Don't worry about a thing RedScout. You are WELL above any post standards we would ever have and you're SO one of the family Bud....
For clarity guys, we are NOT hoping to make this club ONLY for high posters or SO exclusive you have to have 7 rifles, 5000 rounds of ammo onhand, be able to do 500 pushups in 3 minutes and own a camo colored corvette.
The purpose of ANY standards we would set for the members area would ONLY be to prevent people from joining for the SOLE purpose of taking the links to supplies we all need and posting them elsewhere - thereby decimating sources that our members have shared so that OTHER members can use the resource.
We are just trying to protect our resources and keep them in the family. We have so many good men on here it is truly hard to decide how to set the "standards" but I don't believe they will be anything our good members can't meet so any worries should be eased guys. This is not going to be any kind of Olympic tryout - just a little screening to keep out the googlers unless they are willing to take part in our forum just like the rest of us.
As far as the "corp thing" goes, that is just to ensure that our corporate sponsors can get in and hopefully provide us with at least a FEW opportunities that will be EXTRA special deals for members of our "Members Club".... :twothumbs:
Whewwwww. I am glad you cleared that up Sharkey. I can only do 400 pushups. I'd be willing to pony up some $$ anyway just to make sure this site stays up. I come here so much I made it my home page.
