I checked the Library, in the Armalite web site, and found this.
I`m still not sure what the A2 stands for but I have more information that I did before.
The B is for the color and the M is for the hand guards, must mean "Military" type." I will still email Armalite, maybe they can tell Me where the rifle went to from the factory.
Thank You for Your responses.

I checked it out.
A question or two.
I see that those magazine upper followers has this extra piece hanging down from it, I have not disassembled any of My mags so I do not know if the followers have that extra shaped piece on them.
I am to understand that all I would need to do would be to punch that hole in My current M1A magazines, would that be correct ???
Looking at the price, that kit does`nt seem too bad, but, I do not like wasting anything, and so, My magazines bodies would be laying around collecting dust, because, I just can not seem to throw anything away. :busted: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I missed up after I bought my B model and purchased a couple of p- mags to find out that they didn't fit but I took them to a gun show and traded then for some gen2 mags.

I honestly don't know having never used them. If some one else can't answer, give Armalite tech support an email.
I do`nt know how to attach an email{s} so I will try and do a "copy/paste and see if it`ll stick.
I emailed Armalite about My Eagle Arms AR10 and what all the numbers/letters is for.

Subject: My Eagle Arms AR10A2
Just curious about this Eagle Arms Armalite AR10A2 BM.
Serial number is 280457, just would like to know where the rifle had been sold to from Armalite and also, what the E10A2BM model would stand for. I think the B is for the color and the M is for the military hand guards.
I think this is a gen B rifle as the magazines from My M1A fits right into it.
Also, I have heard that the B model rifles is going to be discontinued, Would this be a B model and could You please tell Me what parts kits I would need, if I would ever have to repair/replace any of the upper or lower components.
I thank You very much
Martin Draper
And the reply.
I need the entire serial number to look it up. I am not allowed to tell you who this was shipped to though.
E = Eagle Arms
10 = AR-10
A2 = integrated carry handle and A2 front sight
B = black furniture
M = moly barrel

And then a follow up.
Also, there is no information given to me that we are discontinuing the AR-10B model. All parts between the AR-10A and AR-10B are the same except for the upper and lower stripped receiver, bolt stop, and mag catch. You have the AR-10B model that takes the Gen II steel magazines.
