PB Blaster is an ok product,......Kano Kroil is a bit better.
Noticed that the receiver clamp, is allowing movement of the receiver. Ordered a new one that is to fit a bit better. Noticed movement with a 24" breaker bar and a 30" pipe about 8 inches down the breaker bar.

faaw, if you did all that and it did not break loose, I would def ship it, something is not right, let the PRO take a look see on it...or at least get a second opinion!
Second opinion: Other day I heard a sound coming from the engine in the wife's car, with all Alun V8, 408 HP. Did not sound right, coming from right front of engine, maybe a lifter but no clicking albeit only when it was cold.
Took it into dealer. Verdict: Normal sounds, nothing wrong.
Noise got louder (even tho wife claimed she could not hear it)
Took it to another dealer: They called 2 days later, "you will be getting new engine due to excessive piston wall slap, out of spec". A $7000 job all under warranty...which runs out in 8000 miles!!!
Well........i ended up cutting a splitting the nut.
No idea what happened with this rifle, was bought new at a shop.
Is a AR10T with the stamp on the mag well, so a factory rifle.
Here is what I found..........obviously not Armalite's fault.
Need to kick a shop owner in the junk!

Blue thread locker present...........that explains a lot. Was beginning to think I was an idiot!

I owe you a beer Sir........
Mrralley had offered his services to remove the nut, but after seeing that UPS wanted just over $40 to ship the box, a new nut is cheap!
Dang. I hate that it had be cut. But at least it is out of the way and your build can now move forward.
I concur, blue loctite should have melted. Maybe a different brand of thread locker that doesn't use the same color? I'm stumped on that.
I would have thought so,........I used MAPP gas, 20-30 secs.
It should have melted did not see any residue that I would believe was a moly lube on the nut or receiver. Anodizing is not galled on the receiver.
This one made me feel like a Mole in the " Wack a Mole" game!
Any rate,.....much appreciative to all with suggestions and to MrRaley for the generous offer. Expect mail next week!
