I would have to disagree with that statement....I used to be a LaRue Disciple till I saw what they were doing to my rails...They are Great...if you just leave them ON....

I went with a Burris AR-P.E.P.R. 1-Piece Extended Scope Mount Picatinny-Style with Integral 30mm Rings.

The mount seems very well built and looks great on my AR 10. The Millett Scope is a pretty nice peice of gear for $289.00 Very solid, really clear and bright glass. The zoom knob is pretty tight. I hope that loosens a bit. But for a sub $300 scope I think I'll be very happy with it.

I can now choose four different options with my AR 10. Iron sights, a Red Dot sight, a smaller 4X Bushnell scope, and a variable 4X16 X 50mm longer range scope.

I've received my Midwest Industries 2-Piece Gen 2 Handguard Quad Rail and need to add that and I'm good to go.

The final addition my be a bi-pod to the hand guard. And as money allows a night scope add on to hunt hogs.

Good for you my friend....Look forward to a full picture layout.... ;)
