I took a sporterized 1917 enfield and had it built into a 375 Ruger for My son in Alaska.
I had a stainless steel barrel mounted to it, the smithy black powder coated the barrel, then, inscribed into it .375 Ruger through the black powder coat, now let Me tell You, that shiny stainless through the black powder looked mighty fine.
