I found another great brass catcher. I think it's the best one yet. Folds to fit in a rifle case while still attached to the rifle or in the cargo pocket of your pants. It's super light, quiet, and fits an AR-10 and many other rifles. www.webextacy.com/tbr

The biggest problem I`m having with My rifle is the lack of a rail type mounting system.
I have thought about new hand guards and such but I`m just not exactly sure what fits what and how it would interact with My particular rifle.
With the particular model I have there is the carrying handle instead of a rail, the carry handle is held o n with two small pins so it is removable, but,I have not been able to find a rail to fit in place of the carry handle.
So,Now that I got that out of My system,I guess, the biggest problem with a rifle of the style I have just described is "there`s just no where to mount any accrudements."

Here`s a pic. of My rifle, the scope is mounted to the carry handle,I would like to install a flat top where the carry handle is,if that is possible.
The rifle is in the safe and I have a whole bunch of "STUFF" parked in fron of the safe aaaand, right now is`nt a good time as I have a 59 Poly 318 engine in the process of a rebuild sitting right in front of the mess.
I also would like to replace the hand guards with the rail systems, but, with all the projects ahead of this project the rifle shoots good enough the way it is. :P

Hmmm...I can't tell from the pic...it that an ArmaLite.....
As for the receiver....I guess I never heard of that type...I thought all A2s were non removable handles...the only thing I could suggest is get a new upper receiver....an A4...

Hey Boss...unfortunately the Delta ring mount will not fit the AR-10 delta ring...
they did say it was being addressed...but I haven't heard from them in a while..

I guess I`m not sure but I thought the ,just, the handle had two small pins to hold it onto the rifle.
After I get that engine together i`ll open the safe and see just what it is that I really do have. :woohoo:
I been thinking on that new upper, this trip I`m going to Alaska wiped Me out for a while.I`m thinking real strong on the .243 upper from Armalite, less than eight hundred.

Here's how I attached mine to a slick AR-10T forearm. It also does not have a slot or threaded hole to attach a picatinny rail near the barrel nut for a brass catcher. I used hose clamps around the forearm to hold a picatinny rail and then mounted the brass catcher to the picatinny with a quick release.
