You are not kidding, in the past week: Cabela's, Bass Pro, San Antonio gun show. Shelves are EMPTY, they are buying ANYTHING that says for AR's on it. I wanted to buy a front sight, even those are sold out. At Cabelea's that have a group of people that are waiting at the store every morning for it to open to see if there has been a delivery over night, then they are back at lunch and again at about 5. They are buying what is in the box, not looking, no discussion, "I will take it".

Wanted a box of .22lr, NOTHING, and I just wanted a box of what 20 rds, nothing. As SASS said, the only thing I found was 410, 20 and 12, and a few other calibers such as 38 spec and some odd balls.

yeah .22 is about as good as gold these days...
We have plenty of 243 on up to 300 Win Mag...but no .308 and the 30-30 is limited...but being they can only get 3 boxes at a time...some still be had for the next guy...or gal..

Just got email from Armalite that mags ordered yesterday will ship within the week. Field repair kit and firing pin kit still on B/O but I figure I have a few more rounds down range before those items need replacing.

Gosh I just HATE seeing links go into the forum. I REEEEALLY wish there was a place we could put them so googlers couldn't just cruise thru and scoff up ammo that could be going to our members... :(
