Slightly used barrel, but I know the previous owner. The chamber is cut for M118LR, he was getting sun .5 moa groups. This is nearly what my bolt gun can do! If this will give me 2.5" groups at 400, I will be damn happy!
I had this exact rail system on my 300 RSAUM before I switched it for the Troy 13.8 I have now.
Both are solid as a rock, I just prefer the continuous top rail the Troy gives me along with fewer parts/cleaner look, and the clamping/reinforcing effect it has on the barrel nut.
Troy vs Larue? No contest there at all! Which rail has been used in Iraq and Afghanistan?
It is not wise to "bridge the gap" with an optic. As far as. Troy Industries product.......not on my rifles!
The unethical stance Troy has taken is a disgrace to the firearms community and America as a whole.
