I talked to a guy at Home Dept who was shopping, had on a USMC WWII vet cap. He was in the first landing craft that hit the beach at Iwo Jima, hope I see him again, WOW what a story he told, could have stood there the rest of the day listening, can only IMAGINE what he would say to this...

This just came in from a friend:

Time is like a river.
You cannot touch the water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Written by a USMC Vet.

He wrote:

The American Dream ended (on November 6th, 2012 ) in Ohio.
The second term of Barack Obama will be the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest Republic in the history of mankind.

A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Gays , Government Workers, Union Members, Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed,
illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" have ended Norman Rockwell 's America . The Cocker Spaniel is off the front porch... The Pit Bull is in the back yard. The American Constitution has been replaced with
Saul Alinsky 's "Rules for Radicals" and Chicago shyster, David Axelrod , along with international Socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their beige puppet to bring us Act 2 of the New World Order.

Our side ran two candidates who couldn't even win their own home states, and Chris Christie helped Obama over the top with a glowing "post Sandy" tribute that elevated the "Commander-in-Chief" to Mother Teresa status. (Aside: with the way the polls were run, he didn't need any help!) People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will never again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.

You will never again out-vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away.
It will take Zealots, not moderates & shy not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.

Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to "white guilt" and political correctness.

An American Veteran.........

Doesn't matter WHAT kind of flag they are putting up - this is downright insulting!

Sorry, but I don't think you qualify JT. Complaining accomplishes nothing, only action matters. The zealots he is talking about are the George Washingtons, Thomas Jeffersons, Ben Franklins, etc. that were willing to take up arms and cut the heads off the snake. I don't think you have the courage to sacrifice your entire well being and financial assets like they did. They all ended up penniless after the USA revolution.

JT, this is not meant to be a personal comment about you, but a statement that ALL of us are still too comfortable in our lives to take the big step required to correct our country and bring back the work ethic and get rid of socialism. Read Carl Marx. He said the normal progression of governments/civilizations is that all societies, large and small, industrial and primitive, start with a democracy whose citizens then keep voting themselves more and more freebies, which then leads to socialism which is what we have now, and then the government becomes so big it becomes a communist state with distribution ruled by a few. When the communist state breaks down from the workers being fed up with supporting the non-workers, a revolution occurs and a democracy starts again, etc., etc. Why do you think the current power brokers like George Soros want to outlaw guns, they know the inevitable.

The "complaining " I do here is just a small portion of my activism. Besides being very active with politics I pass on all the info I can to younger generations........
I am not foolish enough to elaborate any further on my zeal to see a better country for my offspring.
You have the Marxist dialectic down pat, I for one refuse to accept it as inevitable. We can make a difference as individuals with leadership and example.
I sleep well knowing I've done what I can......

JT, I'm sure you have attempted to do a lot with words. By complaining I meant using words rather than action. So, to say it another way, only talking to politicians, etc. accomplishes nothing. Talking to your politicians accomplishes nothing because the big cities control the vote and, therefore, us country folks' vote doesn't count anymore. The big cities refuse to take care of their problems of crime, welfare, unemployment, etc. and pass laws that affect those of us that don't live in the politically corrupt cities. More people are killed in one USA city like Chicago than are killed in entire countries, even those at war. But the large city mayors refuse to take action (not words) to cure their problems by sending in the troops to clean out the gangs, drugs, put the welfare people to work in order to get their welfare checks, etc. Instead, they choose to take freedoms away from us country folk like gun control etc. in their feeble and naïve attempt to cure their city problems. The old adage that says clean your own door step before you complain about others. The big cities are corrupt in so many ways.

zeal·ot
ˈzelət/Submit
noun
a person who is fanatical and uncompromising in pursuit of their religious, political, or other ideals.

 I assure you that compromise is not something I'm known for to friends or foe. Since you don't know me other than from what I post about I can understand why you might think that I treat words as action. As I said, I'm not foolish enough to document all my plans or actions here but I rest easy knowing they have, can, and do speak louder than my words. I'm an old Ranger so having a back up plan for the back up plan has been standard operating procedure for many years.
I understand full well what you are saying about societies path, more than you can imagine. I know these were just words but have you called out your senator about a lie on live TV? There is a reason they have not allowed live TV question and answer time on the floor of any Iowa state and district Republican conventions since 1994........
Are you familiar with the phrase "Going John Galt"? He was a character in the book Atlas Shrugged. I strive to live in his image, poison the beast at every opportunity.
How many range cards do you have filled out? How many and whom in your community do you organize with? How many firearms do you have stashed and where? See where I'm headed?????????
In Iowa training a paramilitary group, or militia, is a felony so I surely would never engage in such activity, the rest is open to conjecture..........LIBERTY FIRST :usa:
