Wasn't always the case. I think getting older and having kids helped that a lot. I found out most people ignore you if you are yelling.

Right on bro...something about the reality of FACTS, from the gov (FBI) and always give the link or state the source.

More children under the age of 13 die from car wrecks than any kind of gun, in fact its the NUMBER 1 killer of children, drive safely my friend.

Adults are more likely to die from a hammer attack than any rifle attack.

You actually have to be careful when using the hammer stat. If you throw in shotguns it isn't true anymore. Here is a link with some of the stats I used: www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-t...ables/10shrtbl08.xls

Big thing in these facts is the overall drop in the total. As there are more and more guns in the US crime has gone down.

I think the absolute most painful thing about all this is that facts don't seem to sway the idiots upstairs. I mean they KNOW the facts. They HAVE to and yet they press on like they are doing all this based on OTHER facts. Ones they inflate and scream and get all the "uninformed" all whipped up about.

It all just seems so damn crazy that they are winning all over the damn place and yet not a SINGLE fact supports what they are doing.

I mean, if I walked into ANY company and said I had a plan:

Here's 100% of our problems. What I want to do is take a FRACTION of 3% of these problems and spend BILLIONS of dollars, possibly rip the company in half and MAYBE at LEAST make a DENT in THAT fraction of issues that we have and that's my plan - what do you think?

Within seconds, there would be 18 cops, a dozen guys in white coats with a SPECIAL jacket just for me and I'd never be seen again.

But in our government, the mooks are frickin HEROES for God's sake... I just don't get it... It's all so incredibly stupid..

NOTE that is why I used "rifle, rather than just guns...you got the do your research and make sure you nail the numbers correctly...
