All we can do RIGHT NOW is fight with the only weapons that will do ANY good and that is letters, phone calls, contributions and common sense.
Getting everyone all worked up because you want to hear people cheer is foolish and shows poor sense and judgement when our ONLY way to fight is with money, votes and recruiting of votes from people we talk to and NOT TO MENTION, people who visit our site.
If every single time someone shows concern, you just sit around adding to it, you are not helping, you are hurting, what is already a bad situation throughout the country.
We don't need to polish our bullets guys. We need to sway people to fight WITH us. NOT scare them away because we are all walking around in camo screaming they are coming they are coming.
We are FAR from that right now and we DO have a chance to slow it's progression if we stay disciplined and fight the way this war is designed to be fought. With some self control, good sense and votes.
NOT like a bunch of crazed, foaming at the mouth gun nuts warning police that we'll be waiting with our guns at the ready...

3) You even quote me on things I did NOT say at all, even remotely, I made no suggestions that anyone run around in camo's and start shooting or anything else..HEY Shark, I TOOK my pills this am, did you?
4) What I clarified was a point, based UPON FACTS of what govt's can and will do. 50 million dead from wars over the past 100 years vs 160-220 million dead from govts out of control, murdering their own people, over the past 100 years. That my friend is REALITY! Deal with it! Know it! And a few words of advice from an old soldier...DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE your enemy!!!
Shark, WE are at war, whether you know it or not. The END GAME, is NOT about GUN CONTROL, its about Control over the people, that is you and me.
Solution: WHY would I need a solution when we have the 2nd Amendment...oh YOU are RIGHT, we do need a solution here, that in itself tells me we have a REAL PROBLEM in the USA when we have a White House, POTUS, Congressmen and women, Mayors, Police Chiefs, Governors across this nation that are screaming "we will CONFISCATE YOUR GUNS", require a $1Million gun insurance policy, outlaw gun manuf, register you guns etc etc etc.
That said what is our solution: Well if I knew that I might not be sitting here on the ranch writing this. BUT YOU hit upon some things we can do, which is what we have been doing all along, but who is in the White House...how is that vote thing working out for you?
Allow me to add some things:
I joined the NRA as a LIFE MEMBER
I write OpEds for a couple of newspapers, the last one was on Guns, many of the things I have mentioned here were included, it was published in 2 newspapers, you too can write in Letters to the Editor
I give talks to groups on this subject, you can too
I tell everyone to join the NRA, go get a concealed handgun license, go buy a gun, go buy some ammo, go to a shooting range
Get involved in local politics, tell them about the 2nd Amendment, tell them the Revolutionary War was started when the Brits tried to confiscate our guns over here. Go to your County and State and National GOP conventions I did
Speak to women's groups, tell them to get a CCL, offer to take them to the range, help them buy a gun...23 women took my advice last year and got a CCL
Go to the NRA Convention in Houston Texas, May 3-5, wife and I are booked, she has her CCL and is a NRA Life Member, we have asked others to attend and support...SEE YOU THERE SHARK!

Meet with your US reps. I stood up in a meeting a couple of nights ago that US Rep Lamar Smith was speaking at, I raised my hand, and I said: 'Lamar, I have no questions to ask, I only have a statement to make, one that I want YOU to take back to Harry Reid, Diane Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, Nancy Peolsi...I went on to say I am retired military, combat soldier, an American who wrote a blank check to the taxpayer and federal govt 25 Jan 1967 and its still good today...tell them this American will NOT give up is AR 10, his guns, his hi-cap mags, I will not register my weapons under any circumstances...' I got a standing applause by the audience, Lamar went on to tell his about the guns he owns, his hi cap mags, his hunting and gun collecting and thanked me.
After the meeting Lamar stepped off the stage and found me in the audience and shook my hand...bottom line Shark, stand up, speak out, get involved and make a stand.
Let them and everyone KNOW the 2nd Amendment is not about hunting, but to "
DEFEND" against TYRANNY, NOT to go on the offensive against the govt or anyone else, its to DEFEND, WE the FREE PEOPLE!
Be prepared to 'just say NO' to gun registration, confiscation or anything that INFRINGES our 2nd Amendment Right to Keep and Bear Arms...
