So is the letter real or not?

Is Armalite willing to arm officers while not selling to citizens in the states in question?

IF gun confication were to become law, the police are the ones to do it.
It's being floated in some states to test reactions.

That depends...pretty much most of the LEOs I have spoken with said they WILL NOT DO IT and turn in their badges....and stand with the people...

There is an old saying that when you find yourself in a hole - quit digging!

I do not think that the initial arrogant e-mail response was particularly indicative of Armalite's corporate policy, it could be (and probably was) from a stressed and/or overworked employee, but the latest corporate response (which basically doubles down on the initial arrogant e-mail) is not helpful.

This isn't going to play out well at all.

I think when it comes to the rural Sheriffs Depts we have support, inside the city limits, forget it, they will do exactly as they are told and a % of them across the US their JOB is DIRECT FEDERAL FUNDED, a move started by Klinton. Obama is eyeball deep in it. These folks are the new leader in the civilian Obama Army (Brown Shirts). Why would the feds DIRECT fund jobs in local police????

Most of the LEOs that I know and come in contact with are Ex military and believe in the Oath they Took...so were I live..I believe that 90% of them or better will do as they say...because if it comes down to it...as one of them I spoke recently with said...I won't give up my guns, and if I can keep them due to my job...what happens after...It all comes down to Faith, Honor and what is in the Heart...If you are a LEO (or Military) can you really Execute an Illegal Order against the USA....and Throw aside all that you Believe in and have Sworn to Protect...That is why WE TAKE THOSE OATHS....
