This might be a long running thread but I just got a matched billet upper and lower set by Matrix Aerospace Corp. These are the same receivers used by Ruger to make the SR-762. They are an ArmaLite A pattern but most DPMS parts will work, the bolt catch and barrel nut are the specific ArmaLite parts needed. This was a Blemished set but I sure couldn't see any blemishes.

Now I have to decide what I'm going to do with it, shorty or maybe a 22 incher........bench gun or a brush beater.......
I am going to Cerakote it FDE, I've got an A2 stock and a green tube from an AR-10T so I'll need to make it all match.
Luckily the new LGS in town is going to let me borrow the tools I need so that is one expense I won't have to cover right away. I might have to put parts on my Christmas list to get it built but then these things do have a way of absorbing me..............
Ask about the blem sets, much cheaper and the blemish is hard to find if you can. I've heard from three others that got these blem sets and that can't see the blemish either.
My flight to Alaska is booked, a non~refundable one way ticket. The bills are all paid off, no more debt.
If it was not for this journey to Alaska, I would be for jumping right on one of these. :banghead:  :rotfl:

A BCG and a barrel,depending on w
Hat model a rail.
Thank You Jt. I was wondering, I could not imagine that, it would be a put the two halves together and go to the range.
I guess it might also need the butt stock and the buffer assembly too.
Yep forgot about the buffer.....gas block and tube for the barrel if you don't buy one already attached......then a BUIS set and a scope...bipod.....I'm sure there is more to add.
No clip needed to hold it in and the detent is adjustable. It will need some fitting for my receiver, it is tight now causing the pivot point to rub some.
