Stephen here from North Mississippi. I purchased last year a DPMS AR10 in .308. I am not very educated on the AR style platform. I am wanting to use this weapon primarily for deer hunting. I would love someone to help me get this weapon like I want it. It is a flat top receiver and everything else is stock. I have installed a Nikon P-308 scope that I really like. I am not sure how to install a sling on it yet and I would like to put a floating quad rail that extends all the way to the end of the 16" barrel with out breaking the bank. Research on the internet has been exhausting to tell the truth, so now I am here. Any suggestions or pics?
:welcome: I've been real happy with rails from Midwest Industries, lots of choices and they SS series all come with a sling adapter.

They almost always run a sale for Christmas.
Boise, Idaho is my home. Has been for 38 years. A gun heavy zone. I love it!
Started building my first AR10B about a year ago. I looked for feedback on numerous web site as to whether I should go with the AR10B build, the Armalite AR10A, or the DPMS 308 pattern (latter seems to be the preferred) but didn't like what I was reading about either of the latter two. I went with the original Armalite AR10B. So here I am after completing my build.
Welcome Don:welcome: : You are very right on parts availability for ArmaLite, in 2011 when I bought mine there were lots of choices but today if Armalite doesn't have it then good luck. Glad to read you got a rifle up and running though.
