Welcome Mr Poo. Glad to hear you have bought a AR10 and are now shooting it. Regular feeding will keep it happy. Adorning it with things like a bipod and quality scope will only continue to improve its accuracy and utility. I sure you will find lots of articals in the forum Index to satisfy for curiosity for a while. Look forward to your posts. This is a great place for the free flow of information.
Ahhh that's the way Mr Poo. Gun porn will get you everywhere. Nice rig, very purposeful setup. Whats your optic of choice currently. Also nice plate carrier.
The only thing I have purchased so for is the optic which is a Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5-21x50 G2DMR (ET35215G). This scope made me giddy out of the box as the fit, finish, and clarity are so much better then sub $500.00 scopes I have become accustomed to using.
I am looking for recommendations for bipod, scope flip covers, and 20MOA mounts for a 34mm tube. Current scope mounts I purchased are 0 MOA which is fine while I get started but I will need to switch out once I get up to speed with the rifle.
My desire is to push beyond 4-600 yards with stopping power which I have no difficulty reaching currently with my .270. The .308 round is such a fantastic and commonly available round I went this route to try and hone my skill to reach out to 1000 yards or better.
If you are in the Northern VA area and like to shoot let me know!!
