Well got my Core 30 back last week with a new gas tube and bolt carrier. Went to the range yesterday. Shot about 35 rounds. No problems except for 2 jams from Hornady Gmax 168gr rounds. I figure semi autos may not like feeding rounds with plastic tips. Nosler 168's shot great.
I love the AR in 308 and the Core 30 TAC LR is a nice rifle. I'll post some pics asap.

So just an update. My Core 30 is working great.
I also bought the AR-10 I originally wanted. The Sig 716 DMR. Going to the range for the 1st time tomorrow to sight it in with the open sights it came with. Bought a Millet 35mm monster scope, but too big so sent it back to Optics Planet. Waiting for my Bushnell Tac Elite 6x24 LRS with Spuhr mount. This rifle just feels great. I hope it shoots as well as it looks!
