Just joined today. I've been into the shooting sport for over 30 years. Recently bought my 1st AR10 a Core 30 TAC LR. Nice rifle with great parts, but getting FTE after 15 rounds. :ohmy: Was out at the range yesterday and today. I used IMI yesterday and Hornady 168 A-Max Match today.
I'll contact CORE tomorrow.

:welcome: :welcome: You have joined a great site with lots of good info, one of the best tools is our people they know their stuff. Another great tool is the search option, with it you can search the sites data of previous post.
The other thing is, in order to give good info we need lots of info!
On your FTE 1st option factory tech support.
Most often it is a lube issue and cleaning.
How does the rim or the case look any unusual marks, scratches, dents?
I'm not familiar with your rifle and we really like pictures so post away. :usa:

Well, after cleaning the rifle I noticed the gas tube on the bolt carrier is damaged. The front gas tube is damaged as well.
I know shit happens, but 45 rounds out of a new rifle? Not a happy camper. Filled out CORE's warranty claim and will give them a call tomorrow.
Great parts on this rifle and was expecting a lot. Not a good start, but I'll let you guys know what happens. At least CORE has a LIFETIME NO BS warranty. Of course I'd rather not use any warranty. I just want the tool to work!

Sorry to hear the problem with your new rifle and especially so early. On the plus side that Lifetime Warranty looks like it may come on handy. Maybe they'll even exchange this rifle for a new one..

BTW, Aaron from Core called me today. Sent a pre-paid UPS label and said he'd take care of the gas tube damage and check everything to make sure it's fine.
I like that, but why didn't someone do that before shipping the rifle?
I know they test fired it because it was dirty.
Anyway, I'll keep you posted.
