I pulled the trigger, so to speak, on a Sig 716

Ordered me one from Buds yesterday. From all that I read, it is an outstanding rifle, without getting way too expensive. Believe me, I would love to have a LWRC, but it is not in the budget. I know the fans of DI will not like it, but fans of pistons don't like DI. I'll get a range report when I can. Pretty excited about it!

Good gun, in fact my gunsmith thinks its one of the best ARs out there for the money.

I TRUST Sig and their position system, they have engineers on staff VS some guy in a garage with a Harbor Freight lathe building his own piston system...you will most likely be able to get replacement parts and support for many years to come....

Check the file type TG. I know jpeg will always work but some others seem to be hit or miss. That should do it...

Congrats towgunner you bought a great rig I love mine.
I know you probably already know this but make sure you clean the bolt and carrier really well before you try to shoot it.
Sig uses some really gunky grease inside the carrier and it can cause some problems.
Also you will want to pull the spring and buffer out and clean them as well as inside the buffer tube.
My buffer tube and the spring was full of that same gunky grease.
One last thing if you reload for it you may want to invest in a small base die set.
I think Sig's are chambered a little tight mine won't completely chamber anything that isn't Small base sized.
I will be not so patiently waiting on a range report.
