I've got one spare bed just under 5 hours west of there on Interstate 80, Denison, Iowa. I can offer that and some grub if it helps. We could carpool from my house as well.

Maybe incorporate a factory tour, have some educational sessions, do a fishing trip.
Sound like a GREAT idea!
Instead of a fishing trip, how about setting up an Asian Carp whacking contest? That area is in the middle of a huge infestation of Asian carp on the Mississippi River. Baseball bats and scoop nets would be the order of the day. I bet we could actually find some one to organize it. I can see it now, the first annual cARp 10 trophy! Maybe even a special edition C AR10 P model to commemorate it. What is in my coffee this morning!?
As much as I hate the their gun laws I guess I could make it. I try to avoid that state as much as possible. I think Kentucky is a better choice, much better as far as laws go and probably better ranges available.
Or stay over the river in Iowa? As a form of protest. It wouldn't be that far to go see the manufacturers. I am guessing Iowa would be more accommodating.right jtAllen83?

I whacked so many back in Vietnam I don't need to whack anymore. But I am open to some other 'game'...

There are lots of hotels and a casino there. Iowa recognizes conceal carry permits from 32 different states but it would be a rare occurrence to need one.
I'm not real sure about any ranges that you could stretch an AR-10T out on, I think everyone in eastern Iowa goes to the big one in Illinois. We can't hunt deer with rifles here so nearly every type of range around focuses on shotguns and pistols. Rifles and dogs are forbidden here on the hunt, instead we push deer with large groups of people and fling buckshot and slugs at them, deer and people. The paper details the carnage every year but tradition persists........
All in all it would be a good idea, the area is sort of geared for that scenario and gambling weekends!

Damn, I'll be in northeast Nebraska at my Fathers place all day. If it would be past 7pm I should be back.
If your this way in the future you are always welcome!
We should bring our rifles, handguns and shotguns. Picture about 12 of us, all in cammo, faces painted, tactical gear on with sidearms and back up shotguns or rifles slung - on a little tiny john boat cruising along waiting for the carp to start jumping so we can all blast em....
and for safety, let's not forget those big orange PFDs all the newbs where when boating... :rotfl:
Suddenly ONE little fish swishes and the sound is like frickin D-Day on the Mississippi as we all light em up...
Hell, I might even take up drinkin whiskey again just to add to the fun !!! OK, maybe not... I was never a lot of fun when I was drinking now that I think about it...
