The rattle issue is a factor for sure. I remember using tape and para-cord on my field gear to "silence" the rattles. Para-cord makes even more sense when you consider they are most likely attaching it somewhere on there gear rather than using it like a conventional sling, I think our forces are moving in that direction with straps hooked right to molle vests, not sure how popular it is but I see more of this style for sale these days.

A 7.62 NATO bullpup would get my attention big-time! It would take a pretty reasonable price to get me into another platform beside the Stoner AR though, years of muscle memory and piles of parts are hard to argue with. I'm looking forward to putting one on my shoulder some day though!

Had lunch in mess hall with soldier. Note helmets, rucks and line up of M 16's and guard. They carry M 16's and 2x30 rd mags with ammo all the time

This is cool, AR 15 30 rd mag fed MG or drop the mag and grab a belt for belt fed operation, IWI is smart folks
