You can tell by just looking at the RRA and the Giessle that the RRA would not hold up to FA...can't believe they would even attempt that.
So they made a RRA 2 stage with the hook to catch a FA sear?
The as is RRA would never work in a FA FCG as is...
I am sure the RRA for most of us holds up under normal use fine.
I have heard of some breaking on other forum discussions though.
I might go to some other NM trigger for my AR10 at some point but man for $90 RRA is doing the trick for now.And that Armalite tactical
2 stage is greatb in my SBR too.Don't need no 3 lb in that one anyway.

Do we know if they are still using the same metal?

We are currently out of stock on our quality triggers online, however they may be found at one of the following distributors.
Mr. Geissele is a veteran of the armed service. I really doubt he would cut corners or take advantage of poor business practices. Maybe raise prices before producing a lower quality product.

Yes sir, RRA did make f/a version, but only for the military in limited numbers.
Sorry, I meant is ROCK RIVER using soft or inferior metal in their trigger?
A few of the reported "failures" happened after 7 to 8K rounds. Jeez I know competitors that will go through 2 or 3 barrels in 7-8 k rounds. If that's what it takes to 'fail' a RRA trigger, then they are worth the 120 bucks. One could just get a new one every 5 or 6k rounds and you are still $$ ahead of the Gieselle.
I adjusted the pull wieght on my tactical two stage using technical note #68 and only did the disconnector adjustment to the lightest setting and reformed the spring legs as described. Trigger pull is very smooth and a 3.4lbs 10 pull avg. using a lyman trigger pull gage. The two stage is gone, one consistent pull to trigger break. YMMV
yes it was intentional. I wanted a clean consistent pull all the way through to break.
It is reversable and adjustable to preference buy reforming the disconnector spring legs.
