I have a lot of Varget so I will start there...probably pick up some RE15 as well. Sooner or later I will figure out what it really likes.
Varget and RE15 are so close performance wise I wouldnt bother. Varget is impossible to find here at times. M118LR uses 175SMK's and RE15, but it is hot! Could not brlive some chrono readings I had with it. I keep it in reserve now.
yeah I hear ya on the Varget. When I found it, I could not believe how much the place had....and I got all of it. This was several months ago when any powder was hard to get. So now I have a bunch of it. lol. I will read up on the M118 LR, I am curious now. I try not to load em up as much as possible, but sometimes they like it. so we'll see i guess. Thanks for the input!
Swebb, here is a linkto a thread on the M118LR I will see if I can find a few more. Lebben B and Texas longshot in that thread know what they are talking about.
This is a good one on the 175 SMK. The reloading section has a bunch of good threads.
