My guess is they were working day and night, got caught up and then kept on producing to get some inventory and ended up with too much...most likely clear out some and that will be it...then wait on the new owners to sort out and who knows what that may bring.
thanks much. just saw this and ordered the 10t carbine upper. given how they have cut out so many guns they used to offer, seemed like I better get it while I can.
So I just got off the phone with Armalite. It turns out they actually don't have any AR10T carbine uppers in stock and don't plan to make any FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR. They are going to honor their sale advertisement( they weren't thrilled about it though) and tear down a complete gun in order to send me the upper, but said they have to do some paperwork changes as the gun is already registered as a complete gun so it might take awhile to change the paperwork before they can ship.
Anyway the bottom line is, if anyone is planning on getting an AR10T carbine in 2014, you better act fast, if you still can. They will honor any March madness orders till midnight tonight. Once they are out of complete rifles to disassemble, I am not sure they will sell you one, as the sales person I spoke to said they no longer have their lines set up to make this upper for the rest of the year.
