308 AR's didn't go as nuts as the 5.56 ones did. I don't think they will go down a huge amount. Look for a lower minimum reserve in a Gun Broker auction, or just a minimum bid with no reserve, and just put a bid barely above the minimum in, a half hour before the auction expires. Someone may come in at the last second, maybe not. That will tell you real quick what the market is. Most the action happens in the last hour, kind of like E-Bay.
Your already below MSRP on a new rifle. Your not going to much better unless you take a gamble on a used rifle. The panic is pretty much over especially online for complete rifles. Ammo and parts are really the only places still hard hit.

A buddy of mine has a gun shop here in florida..... I'm giving him a chance find one.... I'll know Tuesday.... I'm very excited about this..... I'm really lusting for this thing..... I am so childish... But.. That's just the way it is.....
I saw the same ones going for $2,200 used and new on Guns America and Gun Broker.com first part of this year. Now some are going for under the $1,915.00 msrp, new from dealers.
