Glad it all turned out for the best :woohoo:
We also would like to see you around here a little more since we did such a good job
:welcome:
and feel free to post any further issues or problems and I'm not just talking about your sweet looking rifle

Excellent. The best way to keep the Simplex 14 from returning is to get (1) bottle of Birchwood Casey Cleaner-Degreaser and wipe the whole thing down. Tape off your scope and get 3 cans of your different favorite Krylon matte camo colors. :woohoo:
Other than that, how do you like the trigger and which glass is that 42mm you got on there? :welcome:
I only have around 40 rounds down range (not including the barrel break in). The trigger and I are just getting acquainted but I think we're gonna be good friends. The break is pretty crisp with only a hint of creep. It should smooth out some more over the next few hundreds rounds.
The scope is a Sightron Big Sky 6 X 24 (Japanese I think). A respected friend had one and was recommended it. Turns out that Optics Planet had them on sale plus the manufacturer was offering a $100 rebate. So far I am pretty happy with it. It's bright and seems to hold zero pretty well.
