Now, throw that 707HP engine into my 1970 Cuda and I suspect it would turn heads....and tires. With that sort of output I would probably swap out the entire drive train...

Looks like you're a Corvette fan, too. I've had this one for 17 years and still only 81k on the clock.

Yes I am!
I bought mine, can't believe it, in 2004, 10 years ago.
I stopped into a local dealer and told him I wanted a Millennium Yellow Z06. He ordered one and when it arrived I was like a kid in a candy store....Drooling all over myself!
I was out driving it last night and happened to notice the millage.....19,305...
Did someone say Corvettes! My 2004. A buddy just picked up a a C-7 Z51 convertible. Plan is for him to sell it to me in 3 years when he gets another new one.

I do indeed like the new C7 body style and it's the closest yet to the Sting Ray of the 70s I think. We considered one but reality set in. Neither one of us can get in or out of these cars easily nowadays with aching backs and bad knees. Instead, it was a Jeep Dragon. Kinda funky looking but cool interior.

I drove a Lamborghini on a race track a few weeks ago and my head is still spinning.
Makes me appreciate what you guys who race(d) can control.

For years on Thanksgiving weekend the southeastern Corvette clubs would gather at Roebling Road near Savanna, GA and put on a high speed auto cross. It was so much fun driving that course as fast as one had the guts to go. I topped out at 45 MPH on the quarter mile straight way.... Dunno what I'd do with 700 horsepower!
