I save over $500 a year by not shaving or getting a haircut.

Suave for Men shampoo keeps my hair and beard in great condition by the way.

UPDATE:

So my order arrived from Harry’s, new razor, blades and shaving cream. There are 3 prime components to shaving that make up a system:
* Blade
* Razor
* Face lube

Shaving method: I shave in the shower, wet face, optimal conditions.

Here are the results from 2 shaves:

Shave 1: Harry’s shave cream, razor and blade.

* Harry’s Shave cream: Just say no! Lacks lubricity, feels dry on face, not for sensitive skin. Passed to wife for legs, she used, then threw it away. THINK GEL folks!
* Harry’s Razor: Solid feel in hand, liked orange color, but removing the blade almost ripped the insert out, thus the blade now almost comes off the handle, constantly pushing it back on.
* Harry’s blade: Sharper? Difficult to ascertain as the cream is not helping it, will call at this time as equal to Gillette,

Shave 2) King of Shaves, Gel, Harry’s razor, Harry’s blade, far better test.

* Harry’s razor with blade: Not as maneuverable as my standby G-Fusion, but it is only my second time to sue. Blade does not seem to follow face as well as G does and lacks the top edge trim single blade to get sideburns and under the nose. Bottom line don’t give up your G-Fusion
* Harry’s blade: GEL makes the difference for sure. Harry’s blade is SHARP and NOTICEABLE improvement over the G offering, clearly the sharpest I have ever encountered in my nearly 60 years of shaving and my beard is quite tuff.

Take Away: Harry is holding the trump card in the blade, but is it enough to overcome some of the issues, especially the under the nose and the sideburn trim. For that I am still having to sue my G to accomplish that task. But if you want a sharp blade, smooth (with GEL) shave then go with Harry’s.
