As I understood, YES it also reads the wind, temp, bar, etc etc. They did not have it mounted as the range we were on was only about 50 m. I did hand-held and WOW let tell you I was impressed. Looking at some trees at over 1500m. Its exact specs are classified at this time but its 2000m+ and laser less than 1 in at 2000m.
Their intent is for this to be a real battlefield multiplier and allows every unit to have a Designated Marksman with sniper accuracy.
For me the capability to read wind speed and direction accurately would be one of the biggest game changers. All that tracking stuff would be useless on the remington model if you put the wrong data in. :twocents:
