This thread brings back some memories of my youth shooting at deer with the NEW CCI Stinger at 300 yards plus, that round would kill anything :rotfl: ........and then Remington put out the Yellowjacket, you'd have thought I had a howitzer! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Did I ever tell you about the time I was deer hunting in 40 below weather up in Canada? I was using a Marlin 45/70 shooting a big slow moving bullet. I spotted a nice buck, made my stalk within 200 hundred yards sighted and shot. Boom! Then nothing. Fortunately the buck didn't spook, so I worked my way closer. Another 20 yards, and lo and behold, the bullet was suspended, frozen in midair. I immediately pulled out my Bic lighter and held its flame under the bullet. After 5 seconds, that big slow bullet resumed its journey and hit the deer right through the heart. Just another of my many modest accomplishments with firearms, which I normally am reluctant to tell.

Here we go, you are gonna like this:

This guy is building his bug out bag for when things go bad. He did not list all of his gear, but he is hauling 3 guns.

1) S&W M&P AR 15-22LR + 2000 rds

2) Tarus Judge, 410/45LC He did not give his rd count, but hauling 2000 of .22 is an indicator to me its HIGH

5) Mossberg 500 .410 shotgun. No rd count (nor did I ask, but you know its high...

and

He is carrying a reloading set for the 45 lc and the .410

+ food, water, gear and traveling on foot. ALL this and his bug out bag weighs less than 50 lbs...HEY Bud, open the window and let the smoke from that crack pipe get out...

Well if he is just carrying a hand style reloading kit, it might work. No press, just the old style Lee handloader. The Judge and 410 have straight walled cases, so you could get away without resizing, especially if they aren't being shot in any other firearms. He wouldn't be carrying much in the way of bullets, shot, wads and powder though.

Those 22 Short "Magnumz" iz duh baddest though.
I shotum Mule deer at fourHunnert yards, duh hole in the entrance side kuld hardlee seeit, BUT duh real damage wuz whenI turdneit over, dingdanged sholder on a usser side wuz knockitdeed plum offt, I swearz, nuttin but a hunk a hide a holdinit on.
Thas duh trutth. I swearz.
