Best of luck to everyone in WI this weekend!
Haven't seen anything that nice in my area! We have found a bunch of wolf/coyote kills about a half mile away though, that could be the reason.
We have been getting decent bucks on camera all year. we also got a couple wolf pics and my Dad saw 2 wolves in the same day about an hour apart following different doe's. Didn't get a permit this year or there would have been one less in my area. They were both within bow range! smoke a pack a day!

Nothing but does and little guys last night. Neighbor got a buck bow hunting yesterday with 3 tines on one side and deformed antlers on the other. Could be slim pickings this year. Had a lot of fawns killed by bear the last three years. That doesn't help.

Think I should set the date right on the game camera?
Hey you never know. It seems every year I see the same bucks during bow season and come gun season everything changes. A guy I work with hunts up in Bayfield County and he has zero sign in the woods almost like they all packed up and took a vacation. Not even a visible run way.
My plan is always the same every year. Shoot a 10 pointer opening morning and then I can just sit back and drink beer the rest of the weekend... Hasn't ever happened but I figure it will eventually.

Gave up my heated blind to my son, he was getting cold still hunting. Looks like I am support staff for a while, sitting in front of a nice fire, drinking fresh coffee, and making up a venison stew with the last of last years venison. Ah.....deer camp! Even has Wi-Fi.
