I got a quote last night, there was 4 dollars difference. That suprised me considering I am a cheap bastard. They have a excellent rate structure, and I may switch anyways considering the other benefits. Thanks Mike
I think the BEST part for my wife and I is that instead of watching for the bills to come in, I set up an account with USAA as well and then in 2 minutes, set up and auto-pay from my check to go to that account.
Then I set up auto-pay for the Insurance account that will draw from the new account so I never really have to worry about making the payments and since I threw in a little extra, what's there at the end of the year can go toward my wife's "Christmas spend every damn penny in SIGHT Extravaganza Event" and then I'll have some stashed away in my OTHER account that will be for the bills that she thinks fairies make disappear on holidays...

I have written LESS than 50 checks since 1987, I am 100% doing it by computer...in all those years there has NEVER been a mistake of any kind. As a single guy for 25 years, traveling 52 weeks per year often out a month at a time before I had a chance to get home, many times living out of 2 different hotels in different states and owning a home too, the ability to pay bills from a laptop sitting in a hotel room allowed all that to happen. Plus you have incredible electronic records of everything you do, date, time and I have them back to '87. USAA had an IT dept back in the 1950's, there were the most automated company in the US for many years.
