Many of you may have heard of USAA Ins Co. I have been with them since 1967, I have investments, cars, boats, tractor, home, life, IRA, you name it. They started out only insuring military officers, they now include anyone that has served honorably.

They will save you money and at the same time you get the number one rated insurance company in the US and has been most of the time I have been with them.

Another benefit other than low rates and stand by you world class service is the dividend checks. I get 2 per year and several hundred per check, its based upon how much ins you have with them, how much profit the make etc, the great part is they pay the taxes on it so its all yours.

USAA is a insured owned company, you have insurance with them, then you own the company, not a bunch of stock holders or some holding company on wall street.

I cannot recommend them enough.

I derive no benefit of any kind, you do not have to mention my name, nothing, just have served honorable in the military...

What??! You're just now hearing about this? Dang brother, you really need to look into it. USAA is the only banking/insurance I have anything to do with. My favorite part is the customer service. I've never had a negative experience with them.

I just got off the fone with them: TIP. Living in S Texas drought conditions are not rare. SO I covered my roof with Class 4 metal roofing which guards against fire and hail damage. USAA gives a discount for that.

Now I just finished up doing the OUTSIDE of my house, garage, pump house and well house in ALL metal corrugated roofing. Found out they has the wrong sq footage for the house they were off 200 sq feet, I increased the value of the home due to upgrades by $55k.

Doing that my overall annual bill was reduced by $17 bucks, ok not much, but other than the outside wall covering everything I did raised the cost of the insurance. My home is near fireproof as I can make it, I have ZERO exposed wood anyone on any building on property...

POINT: The gal spent 45 min going over my ins looking for ways to properly insure and at the same time was there anything that could be done to reduce the cost...$17 bucks is $17 bucks...think another company would do that?

WHile talking to her she mention she had received a call from some guy by the name of Sharkey, but the call was unsccessful as he had cut his mouth and tongue real bad on a jagged edge of a can of Peaches he was trying to drink wile parachuting out of a plane...she told him to call back later when he could talk... :busted:

USAA also gives members a $1000 rebate when they buy a new Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicle.
