Yup, Harmony Church. I was in the 2nd week of BAC when Division went to Grenada. I imagine you graduated from OSUT a couple of weeks ahead of me. I'm reaching waaaaaaay back here - if memory serves 10-2 graduated just ahead of 2-2.
Fort Jackson, SC 1983. Started at Knox but they didn't have a full battalion so they shipped us to Fort Jackson. The biggest beach with no water I have ever seen. AIT was at Ft. McClellan.

I was on the trail there in the mid-90's. True words, VTIT. But the best was all the pine pollen that covered everything from April to September. I will say this about Jackson - Columbia was the nicest post town we'd ever been stationed at. Not that I got a lot of time to see it. My wife tells me it was nice.
Moby- My dad hand me about three seconds away from signing on to the coast guard when I was 18. Good group of professionals not really recognized for there soldiering skills until they gotta behind the sites of a fifty cal. But a very integril part of our homeland security. Thanks for your service.
