I was archive digging and came across this thread which some of you guys are already on, thought I would resurrect it. "Siscowet" Is a fish unique to Lake Superior. It lives deep and is a member of the Lake Trout family. It is the Apex predator in the Lake and gets big. I have been fishing this Lake for 30 years and am involved in protecting and preserving the fishery, so thats why I chose it- and no one else had grabbed it!
In Vietnam I picked up the name of Cowboy since I was from Dallas, it stuck with me all my life.
As a grad of the Ft Sill Artillery school I was often used as an FO when we worked in smaller than company sized elements. Lasers, WOW that would have been so cool, but a good FO should go FFE on the second rd if he can read a map and the spotter rd lands exactly where he wanted it.
Bootheel is the region of south eastern Missouri where I live and play. Lots of room and not too many people and some great state shooting facilities almost next door.

I was born in St. Louis, and my wife has some relatives on her Dad's side down in that area. Definitely want to spend more time down there in the next few years.
