I have a friend with a 2010 Grand Sport with 5100 miles on it. Almost bought it, but decided to stick with the C5 for a while. He is trading it in on a C7 convertible, and offered it to me for the trade in price, a heck of a deal. Looking forward to touring the factory and the Corvette museum in the next couple of months, and doing some serious driving. Hope the Highway Patrol is kind to me. Night Force, here is mine. Also 2004. Just standard, but I am looking at an A and A Supercharger.

A friend, an an ex-coworker.
Well, one day He gets a call from the local police dispatch, "Is theis Rod @#*&$%, to which He replies, Yes it is, they proceed to tell Him that they have a car at the dispatch that is registered to Him, and that it was going into the impound if He did`nt get over there and get it.
He sort of argues that all of His vehicles are right where they belong and that it could not be His car.
Well, they proceed to tell Him that He had better get over there to claim it before it gets impounded.
It is sort of late in the evening and so Rod gets dressed and heads off to the dispatch. This is a small town and I`d guess it would be about a five minute drive over to the dispatch.
And so, He arrives, the LEOs, to which there is quite a gathering there by now, they take Him into the stall where the peoples being arrested are unloaded.
Here is the car, not yellow but red, and, Rods brother and Dad are there, all with these big O~L s@&* eatin grins on their faces.
Well, it seems that was about the time that Silicone Valley techs were really hittin it rich, and, Rods brother was one of those techs that was on the top, He had taken some of His fortune and bought Rod a brand spankin new Corvette, Boy oh Boy was Rod ever a happy camper, still is to this day. He keeps that car in the garage and takes it out only when the weather is real nice.
End of that story, NEXT !!!!
To Rods Dads surprise, they get to Rods dads house, and, there in the driveway is this big O~L huge pusher type of a motor home. End of story. :busted: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Next time i see Rod, I will try and nail Him down and get a couple of pics. of His Corvette.
He says that when the button is pushed to "Aggressive Mode" it really does scoot.
OH YEAH, I forgot.
