Well it is kinda what you see is what we got, I have the following;
AP M5 Receiver set
LMT BCG
Magpul MOE pistol grip
Magpul PRS stock
I talked with Dustin at X-Caliber and think I will try and redeem their name after the fiasco over at 308AR, but am holding the Benchmark card back for the moment, will order this week one way or the other.
AP came out with their M5 handguards a week or two ago so I will probably go that route.
I am going to order an atlas bipod.
I received the SLR adjustable gas block last week.
Probably gonna slap a SWFA fixed 10X scope on it for the time being.
And thats where we are at.

All and all I'm satisfied with my X-caliber barrel. It was a bit of a hassle but I'm starting to get acceptable groups with it.
Here are 5 and 10 shot groups at 100 yards with MK319 ammo, I messed up the low shot on the 10 round group;

It seems to hit right on the money with the first shot then the POI starts rising. Some of this could also be due to my shooting style, fast as I can get back on target so I rush a little, and the horrible shooting positions make my back cramp up.

What was your gas length, and what gas port size did you come to?
Rifle length gas system on a 16 inch barrel. I stopped at .1005, might have gotten away with .0985 as it was functioning then with hotter ammo but I wanted to make sure it would be reliable with whatever crap I wanted to feed it. I figure this will give me the ability to download some on the reloads as well.

Comfort and proper breathing are key to CONSISTANTLY shooting accurately

Wish the guys that designed our shooting benches would have tried one first before they built the whole line of contortion stations...........
I owe this site and the people in it that I have pissed off, a sincere apology. This came about because I spoke openly, and incorrectly, all about something as small as attachment methodologies. I spoke from an ignorant standpoint with no first hand knowledge. Lastly I am still trying to understand the structure of this site. I had no idea what a "signature" is in this site's vernacular, I think I do now.
I too have vented here and had to do my share of apologies. All is forgiven,
We all make mistakes and here we will say! "Way to man up" :cowboy: and accept and move on. Mark glad to have you here, as we all have information to share and can learn from each others mistakes.
Were now getting off subject. :usa:
